Causes of Terrorism

Reason for this act in our society is the low literacy level and poverty level so if we want to stop these acts then first of all we have to take the control measures that the roots of terrorism that are the low literacy rate and poverty should not grow and for this we have to make our nation healthy and well educated each and every individual of our country have some work from where he can help his or her family financially.

Our government should provide the full fledge way of growing in society without any type of discrimination .So we can conclude that whatever the situation is in the country the government should focused on the literacy rate and should decrease the unemployment rate so the act of terrorism should not grow.

Muslims called Terrorist

The terrorist activities that are happening throughout globe are blamed to be done by the Muslims. Muslims are called terrorist by the whole world and cause of terrorist activities. Some people that are involved in such activities claim that they are doing it as it is taught to them in Islam. They named their immoral and bad act as jihad. And say that Islam gives them orders to perform jihad against the Europeans and it is compulsory to kill every non Muslim. Because they think that certain strategies the non Muslims made are the cause of death of millions of Muslims. The Taliban’s and the terrorist kidnap small children’s after brainwashing they give them training to fight against the non Muslims. These children’s usually are the cause of suicide blasts and fight against the united nation troops. By the whole Muslim community such activities are strongly condemn such activities. Islam does not allow any Muslim to kill another Muslim. This is strongly prohibited in Islam and all scholars have said that these people are not showing true picture of Islam to the world.

Osama Bin ladin

The general in charge of the war in Afghanistan says capturing Osama bin Laden is the ultimate key to defeating the al-Qaida terror network.
General Stanley McChrystal told Al jazeera television that bin Laden is an "iconic figure" whose very survival eight years after the Sept. 11 attacks serves as a recruiting tool for al-Qaida. U.S. intelligence officials believe bin Laden is in hiding in Pakistan, along that country's rugged border with Afghanistan.
He says finding bin Laden isn't the key to winning the war in Afghanistan. But he says he does not think that the United States will defeat the terror network outright until bin Laden is found and brought to justice. Osama is the person in Afghanistan who has the ultimate power of Al Qaeda in his hands and he is the one who should brought to the front.....

India behind terrrorism in Pakistan

In a recent news, two weeks back we heard the news from Pakistan's interior minister saying that India is responsible for the terrorist activities in Pakistan and India is funding Taliban in pakistan across the border to create instability in Pakistan. He also said that he has full evidence against India in this regard, and also said that India was responsible for the unrest in the Balochistan issue which was there, and he said he will take up that matter at any forum with Indian ministers. I mean he is really serious what he is talking there, India responsible for the attacks in Pakistan, or is it really true like, India carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan. Indian media shows only what they want to show and we never get the clear picture like what the real news is with all the sensationalism that news channels create here.

Pakistan has been under a very critical condition since September, 11 and it is very serious issue as our home land is constantly been targeted by our enemies and we just sit idol in front of them but by this statement of Mr. Rehman Malik that India is behind all this terrorism activities,it seems that now government is a little bit concerned about our beautiful land.

Assisination of Benazir Bhutto

Pakistan's former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday 27th December outside a large gathering of her supporters where a suicide bomber also killed at least 24 people.Doctors and a spokesman of her party said that while Benazir Bhutto appeared to have diedfrom bullets,it was not immediately clear if she was shot or if her wounds were caused by bomb shells.........

Bhutto was taken to Rawalpindi General Hospital less than two miles from the bombing scene where doctors told about her death.It was not very much clear that whether she was hit by the gun or whether she was killed by the shrapnel of the bomb. Bhutto was killed immediately after her public address and that was her last day of life.

The attack came just hours after four supporters of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif died when members of another political party opened fire on them at a rally near the Islamabad airportBhutto, who led Paksitan from 1988 to 1990 and was the first female prime minister of any Islamic nation, was participating in the parliamentary election set for January 8, hoping for a third term.

Benazir welcomed with tragic explosion in Karachi

The convoy of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto was attacked in Karachi, Thursday, October 18, 2007. Two explosions went off near the vehicle carrying former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto, killing or wounding dozens of people.

Two massive explosions shattered the carnival-like atmosphere of Benazir Bhutto's triumphant return to Pakistan after eight years in self-imposed exile, killing at least 135 and sending more than 275 critically injured to nearby hospitals. The bulletproof truck of the two-time former Prime Minister was rocked by the explosions, which intelligence reports are saying were caused by explosive-laden vehicles parked on the side of the road, about 30 meters away from Bhutto's party. An unconfirmed report said that the first explosion may have been caused by a suicide bomber. Members of Bhutto's entourage escaped with minor injuries, but the crowds lining the path took the full brunt of the blasts. Party members on the truck describe a scene of mayhem and carnage. Body parts and human flesh were scattered across a large radius and a few human torsos could be seen draped across the highway median.

The explosions happened nearly 12 hours after Bhutto's long anticipated arrival in Karachi. Her passage out of the airport, where she was thronged by thousands of supporters, took nearly three hours to cover 100 meters.

Moon market blast

Two bomb blast occured in Allama Iqbal moon market Lahore 07/12/2009 at 08:45pm which took place in a radius of 30 meter,also caused a massive fire in crowded shopping mall.Rescue teams retrieved several charred bodies from the building.Nearly 47 were killed and 100 were injured in the blast.A number of the people were taken to the hospitals were in critical condition.According to police,the first blast took place outside a bank and other near a police station.People ran for their lives as two blast took place with in a few seconds.The Iqbal town SP said that police had recovered several body parts including legs of suspected bomber.He told that police has also recovered a motorcycle which is thought to be used for planting a time device.The comissioner blamed India for these attacks but law minister said that militants from Wazirstan were involved.A number of markets were destroyed in this blast and near by houses were also damaged in the blast.A security guard at the spot told that fire made it impossible to rescue anyone from burning buildings. The twin blasts in the lahore took the number of the terrorrist attacks across the country in the last 30 days to 11.

Security Force Targeted

On December 8 a bomb blast took place at the security post at Qasim Bela in Multan cantonment area 12 people were killed and more than 18 were injured. This explosion damaged several buildings in the nearby surroundings. According to the officials they have recovered 12 bodies and more than 18 people are seriously injured and most of them are civilians. Some security men also died in result of this terrorist activity. According to a report the building that has been targeted by the terrorist is of a sensitive agency. A man stormed and opened fire on the police officials. A rocket was also fired at the building before the blast and then the terrorists blew up a car bomb near the building. The injured were shifted to CMH and Nishtar hospital and emergency was declared in the hospitals. The blast was so powerful that the nearby buildings were also affected and many people trapped under the destroyed building. Government officials said that more than 600 KG of explosive material has been used, hand grenades were also recovered from the blast site. Security agencies sealed the Cantonment area to search people involved in this activity. This is not the first time the security agency has been targeted by the terrorists.

Moon Market Twin Blast

A twin Blast hits Moon market in Lahore.An other extreme act of Taliban attacking the inocent people which include mostly Women and Children.

Atleast 42 people have been killed so far and 135 have been injuried including women and children on Monday night.

Moon market is a commercial center of Iqbal Town, Lahore, where a large number of shoppers especially women and children are normally present. Panic prevailed in the market after the blast. The blast was so powerful that its sound was heard nearby areas. Fire has damaged 40-45 garments shops.

The blasts were occurred near MCB bank. Light of the area was disconnected due to which relief teams are facing problems.

Police cordoned off the area and sealed the Moon Market due to security concerns. Rescue 1122 teams and Edhi ambulances reached the spot and started relief activities. Fire brigades are trying hard to control the fire but still not succeeded. The injured are being shifted to the nearby Shiekh Zayed Hospital, Gangaram Hospital, Services Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.

According to the Presedent of the moon market there are always more then 700 worker,working in Moon Market.he said that the blast took place at the peak hour and there were more then 2000 people in that Market. He said the blast has distoryed 2-3 plazzas and each plazza consists of 150 to 200 shopes.It was a massive distruction.

President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the twin blasts at the Moon Market Lahore on Monday. The President expressed deep grief over the killing of innocent people and prayed for the early recovery of injured.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the twin bomb blasts at a market place in Lahore on Monday, which caused loss of lives and injuries.

MQM leader Altaf Hussain also condemned the blast in Lahore. He expressed deep grief over the killing of innocent people.

Commissioner Lahore Khusroo Pervaiz has confirmed 10 casualties. He told that terrorists are targeting the innocents including children and women.He said that the attack was not on people it is a attack on the humanity,on the nation,as to target innocent women and children is forbeden in Islam.He said taliban are not human they are animals.

Islamic international university blast

Three girls were among six people killed on Tueasday in twin suicide attacks inside the International Islamic university,Islamabad.Two blocks were severely damaged. This is the first time that Talibans have targated educational institutions.

The blast took place in quick successions in segregated blocks for girls and boys in university's campus in the capital's H10 sector Islamabad. A bomber bargd into the women only facality and bellowed himself up at the entrance of the girls cafetaria. The other bomber detonated his explosives laden jacket on the first floor if the Imam Abu Hanifa block of University.
No one has so far claim the responsibilty of strike.

The incident took place amid reports about threats to educational institutions,some of which decided to close their facilities for a few days.

However,officials of Islamic University said theywee not aware of any direct threats.They said the University's premisi were properly secured and no one could have guessed that a suicide bomber would target girls in this manner.

Sources said that securty and intelligence agencies had information that terrorists woule strike the university on Tuesday.

The police said one of the attackers, who was carrying five to ten kilograms of explosives, blew himself outside the office of Chairman of the Sharia Department,killing two poeple and creating a hole in the office wall cracking adjacent walls.

The other suicide bomber,they said struck the girl's cafteria after 3pm.Pelletes mixed with explosives also damaged a large area,perforating roofsad walls.

Investigators said they had found skin attached to forehead and an ear, which they beleived were of one of the attackers.

The other,wearing a vest containig five to eight kilograms of explosives.

Some student said they had spotted a 'woman'acting suspiciously near the cafeteria,but there was no official confirmation.Shortly after the blast,the area was cordoned off as teams of police,intelligence agencies,bomb disposal sduad,civil defence,and doctors arrived at the scene.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik faced humiliation for the second time in a week when students compelled him to leave the compus witha hail of stones.

The Minister was accompanied by senior officials of the interior ministry and local administration.

Peshawer Attack

Seven people were killed and 43 other were wounded in the town of badhaber south of the city of peshawer
the town of badhaber souty of peshawar was targeted in a predawn bombing. the explosion took place after the pakistani police open fire at a car.the driver,was approaching a security checkpoint,detonated the car,killing several people and injuring several others.in addition the blast caused massive property damage in the area.
the blast destroyed the mosque,four houses,several shops and parts of the police station nearby degree college and desrupted power supply to some areas.
official said personnel of the police station had been receiving threats from militants for some time.
The badhaber suicide bombing is the fifth of its kind,targeting the city of Peshawar in the 8 days.The attacks have caused concerned over the targeting the city of Peshawar.the capability of armed groups have reduced due to the military operation in Waziristan.
NWFP information minister Mian Iftihar Hussain told reporters at Lady reading hospital(LRH)that the attack was in retaliation for the military operation in Taliban areas.
He reiterated the government's resolve never to bow to terrorists.He said the attacker's attempt to take the vehicle into the city had been failed.
Peshawar SSP(operation) Muhammad Karim Khan said the Police station was the likely target of the bomber,but FC personnel had failed his attempt by firing at the vehicle.
According to DSP Khurshid Khan all the deceased were civilians.Two Policeman and two frontier pesonnel suffered minor injuries.
Among the injured 8 were school students.A bomd disposal official said that about 250Kgs of explosive mixes with artillery shells had been used in the blasts which left a 5 foot deep and 10 foot wide crater.

Rawalpindi attack

Rawalpindi was again attacked on 4th december 2009 by the millitants.Atleast two gunmen opened fire at a mosque named as Prade lane mosque in Rawalpindi'sQasim market near Army headquarters during Friday prayers before blowing themselves up killing atleast 37 people.Dead include 7 millitary officers,3 slodiers,17 childern,10 civilians.Millitants executed people in cold blood.Targeted mosque was frequented by the millitants.Millitants attacked mosque from all sides.There took place two granade explosion laso.Four of six millitants carried out attack.When mosque was attacked there were 150-200 people.Four terrorist were killed by security officers.They also found a car from that area about whuch is thought that it might be used by the terrorists.Some part of the mosque was also damaged by the attack.Militant voilance specially against Pakistan's security escalated later when millitary began its operation against taliban,Al Qaida and other terrorist in tribal areas of south waziristan.

Obama policy for Afghanistan

Obama president of US said in his last speech that the success in Afghanistan is directly linked with the Pakistan.Obama announced to send more troops to Afghanistan.Due to this some of these Al Qaeda members will shift from Afghanistan to Pakistan and may start there illegal activities here which will create problem here.He also mentioned that Al Qaeda wants to occupy Pakistan nuke's.Obama maintained that pakistan faced biggest threats of militency.Security situation in Pakistan ana Afghanistan is

not satisfactory Al Qaeda is plooting new attacks.Obama said that Pakistan people should know that US was the biggest supporter of Pakistan and wants to see the strong democracy there.He also mentioned that US has given maximam aid for IDPs and we do not want confrontation with Islamic countries.

Effects of terrorism

The biggest problem for Pakistan after 9/11 incident is the terrorism threat after this incident the eye of whole globe was on Pakistan and they largely blamed Pakistan for involvement in this terrorist activity. This part of world is considered to be involved in such activities throughout world. During the year 2009 Pakistan faced a lot of terrorist activities and pressure from the European countries they were against the military action in Swat by the Pakistan government. And nowadays there is threat by the militants as well as the American government is against the action of Pakistan military in Waziristan and the NETO forces a also stepped away from Afghanistan border this increased the tension of Pakistan government they increased their voice against this act by the NETO forces . In 2009 there is a sharp increase in the terrorist activities and a large number of innocent people were killed in these terrorist activities. The thinking of the General public toward these terrorist have changed and they are appreciating the military actions by the Government of Pakistan. This democratic Government of Pakistan has used every possible way to negotiate with such terrorist groups but they challenged government every time. Pakistani government is continuously claiming that they are compiling hard evidences of India’s and other nation’s involvement and interference in Baluchistan and FATA. Government spokesman revealed told that a huge quantity of Indian/United Nation arms and ammunition, medical equipment and medicines used by Taliban militants had been recovered from the restive district. Large number of militants have died in bomb attacks and raids carried out by insurgents as well as retaliatory actions by the country’s military and paramilitary agencies. Pakistani people are also taking part in such promotion's to tell the world that these few number of militants cannot destroy us and are not part of us. Pakistan is helping every country in the war against terrorism and facing many problems. The destructions caused a result of the war against terrorism is much more then the foreign aid provided to Pakistan to fight against these terrorists. Pakistan is a developing country and in continuing the war against such forces not only caused physical destruction but also the moral destruction of the foreign investors which in results of the collapse of Pakistani industries. The economic condition of the country is also greatly affected by the terrorism. And the governments have a pressure from foreign countries that the leadership of these terrorist groups is present in Pakistan. This question is many times answered by the government but the countries against Pakistan always say that the Pakistani government is providing shelter and is supporting such groups and also involved in such activities.

Pakistan most cities are under terrorrist activities.Due to these terrorrist activities we have to fcae loss in economy and loss of precious lives on the other hand.There is not a single day in which there is not a attack in Pakistan.The question here is what these terrorrist want to get by doing all these terrorist activities in Pakistan?The involovement of neighbouring ciountries cannot be ignored any way.Actually there are certian proofs found by the Government about the involvement of the other countries.They want to destabilize Pakistan.Specially India bcause since the day Pakistan came into existance they are not happy,they not want to see Pakistan on the world map at all.From the summer 2007 to 2008 1500 civilians were killed in terrorrist activities.In Pakistan diferent agencies such as RAW are involved.On the other hand Talibans are doing various activities in Pakistan.They say that they are doing all this for Islamic laws.But No one thinks Islam is against killing innocent people.They actually train people how to do the terrorist activities. Most of the terrorrist got training in Afghanistan tribal areas.Madrassas are also used to give them training where actually they wash out the brain of the 17-20 years boys.Here they actually provide them with Jahadi litreture and CDs which make there brain wash.They are actually told that the are doing nothing wrong,by doing all this they will be able to get the place in the heaven.Pakistan Government is taking severe actions to stop all these terrorrist activities as possible.(zeeshan ali)

One of the biggest problems in controlling terrorism in Pakistan is because of the question in the mind of the people. Is Pakistan facing these terrorist activities because of the American presence in Afghanistan or because of the tolerance shown for long period of time by the government? Terrorism in this part of world started after the involvement of western troops in this part. The actions taken by the government of Pakistan are considered to be controversial. Some of the political parties consider the action taken by the government against the militant as un ethical and wrong decision. But when the government negotiated with militants in Swat they take advantage of the process and again challenged Rit of government. During the current year 2009 terrorist activities have increased and analysist considered it as a result of government action in Waziristan.
